concerns regarding php as a CGI mod

Hi all,

I have php running as an apache mod with all the default settings (.ini file is under /usr/local/lib) - and I want to get a cgi version running for some hosts.

The apache mod version for php is 4.0.3 - and the new version I just downloaded is 4.1.0 (will be used as CGI).

I was wondering, when installing it as a cgi, do I need to be concered with it's .ini file location and a possible overwrite which may occur? Should I specify a new location for system config files?

Any input will be appreciated!

In response to my own question - it was much easier to simply secure the mod_php version for virtual hosts!
