PHP MAIL

Hello,
I need help, im trying to implement a mail system that send an email in html to people that have a mail system that supports it, and sending the same mail in text format for those who doesn't support html, I think Content-Type:multipart/related does something like that but how do i work with it and how do i do it in PHP.

PS: sorry about the bad english, but i tried my best.

This is how I send "html" email:

$bill_msg = "<body>

Is there a way that I can control if the $to person can recib in html and if not send an email with pure text.

What I've done to work around that is to ask how they prefer to receive emails. Then that gets written in the Db with their information. When I generate an email I check that field and

if ($html ="yes")
{
$msg = "....
}
elseif ($html="no")
{
$msg = "plain text";
}
else
{
$msg="";
$send="no";
}

if ($send !="no")
{
@mail($to, $subject, $msg, $mailheaders);
}
