hope, this is not too off-topic.
I convert different types of images (TIFF, EPS, PCT...) into resized JPEGs with ImageMagick.
Some of these thumbnails cannot be displayed in the browser, although neither the 'convert' (after converting) nor the 'identify' (on the original and the putput file) command report any errors with the image(s).
In every case can I view all those thumbnails in any image-viewer, but some not in the browser.
This happens frequently with TIFFs.
I couldn't yet figure out, what the difference is between the 'viewable' and 'not viewable' JPEGs, it definitely depends on the source image.
Any help really appreciated!
