pdf_open_memory_image() ?

Hi,

i am using lamp system php4.0.6 + pdflib 4.0.1

trying to access the pdf_open_memory_image() function i got the following error msg:

pdf_open_memory_image() is not supported in this PHP build

according the documentation this function should be avaible since
3.0.10 - 3.0.18 only, PHP 4 >= 4.0.0

did i miss some flags durig building the binary or is this a documentation mistake.

any ideas ?,
