I can't use my printer_open() function

I'm using Apache 1.3.20 (win32), OS Windows 98, PHP 4.0.6. I have configure the httpd.conf. Almost all functions are running. But, when I use the printer_open() and dbase_open() function, the browser said "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: printer_open()". Please somebody give me the solution of it.

check your php.ini file...was that function included in your php install?

I don't know how to included the function printer_open in php.ini
