I downloaded PHP 4.1.1 source this morning & ucd-snmp 4.2.3 source as well. After compiling and installing the two packages I can't use SNMP functions from within PHP.
By way of background info, this box used to run these packages but they had been installed from .rpm versions of the software. Also it was older versions of PHP and ucd-snmp. I uninstalled (rpm -e) all of the PHP & SNMP packages this morning and then installed the freshly compiled ones.
Everything works except SNMP function within PHP. PHP keep complaining "Call to undefined function: snmpget()" in my logs. I can use the shell version of snmpget just fine. Also phpinfo() shows that I compiled with --with-snmp=shared & --enable-ucd-snmp-hack but I don't any evidence that it is working in the list below of availble modules like I used to with the old versions.
Anybody out there seen this before or have any suggestions.
