php4.0.6 onfigure --with-imap

courier-imap-1.3.10
/usr/lib/courier-imap

configure --with-imap=../courier-imap-1.3.10
first tell me cannot find rfc822.h so i copy the file to dir courier-imap-1.3.10 ,then tell me :

configure: error: Cannot find imap library. Please check your IMAP installation.
now i dont know how to find the imap library ,please help me

if you install the correct rpms it will work..

you have to install the regular imap rpm and the imap-devel rpm, both can be found at www.rpmfind.net

most people forget about the imap-devel rpm
