Strange PHP server

Hi,

I newbies about PHP and has intall PHP version 4.1.1 with PHP installer for Windows in my desktop computer and my laptop. I use PWS 4.0 in both computer and install MySQL too.

The 1st strange: when I try to load PHP script with .php extension in my desktop computer it won't work. I retrieve HTTP Error 500. But when I load phpmyadmin with extension .php3 it's work well.

The 2nd strange: in short: .php work well and .php3 is not work in my laptop!

Can somebody help me?

the first place I'd look is the php.ini file. The extensions for php files may be incomplete or wrong. If that's not it, look at your webserver's extension associations.

I've never used PWS but I imagine that you need to tell it the extension php belongs to PHP4 you have installed. In apache this is done in the httpd.conf file, there should be a configuration file for PWS 4 also.

After making me confused and frustated, I am uninstalling PWS and PHP 4.1. After that I reinstall again. And that's work fine. Thank's folks!
