PHP on OS X

hello everyone. i am running os x.0.3 and just found out that apache, perl, php etc. are preinstalled on os x. with this knowledge, i would like to know how to set up my network to utilize these. i configged my ip for localhost and i can view files from http://localhost.

anyways, i am very new to php/mysql on a mac (used to linux/windows), so i am really looking for useful newbie sites.

if anyone has any, email me or list them here.

my goal is to configure php (i can do it on windows and linux but again, im new to ss languages on a mac), and be able to run it across my network.

Works also fine at my machines on different OSes:

10.1
10.1.2
10.1.3

Only GD is a bit weird it creates a bit dark pictures!

Have you been able to configure the PHP support for Java under OS X? I've been compiling with the --with-java modifier to the ./configure command, but it is not finding the JVM. I've located the JVM, but ./configure fails to find the libraries. Any suggestions?
