Hi all. This may be a different issue but was introduced with a new PHP install.
I am using a combination of PHP 4.1.2, Apache 1.3.23 and MySQL 3.23.49. I am running on Redhat Linux 7.3 (all apps were installed from RPMS from RH distrib 7.3).
I have a PHP app that uses objects and was working pretty well in an older distrib (7.1) with older versions of all the apps.
Now with the new installations when running one of the PHP pages to generate a report from the MySQL database Apache (httpd) is shown to be taking up all available CPU for minutes at a time to generate even one page as a table (with colored columns and differing fonts etc).
I downloaded the Zend PHP environment for Win2k and the app runs very well.
The MySQL stuff is running well, mysqld show very little CPU activity.
Does anyone have any idea what is up with Linux?
Thanks for your time.
