Linux Installation Help

i have redhat linux 7.2 and it installs fine except when the installation gets to the root password part. The problem is that my keyboard is disabled and i am no longer able to type the root password, therefore the installation cannot continue. can anyone help with this problem. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried enabling your keyboard again?
Unpluging it a replug and restart computer.
