I had the same problem. It turns out I had forgotten to copy the files in the "dlls" folder to a location in PATH (c:\windows\system32, c:\windows\system, c:\winnt\system32, etc. are common ones)

It works fine now

they said in the install.txt to copy just one file !

   I want to crypt my users passwords on my site and i am developing site in php on windows 2000. i got an error that "crypt() is not a function".

please help me to crypt the passwords so that i develop my site. how can i crypt i think i want to install "php*_crypt.dll" to do work
please tell me about it and about its installation.

Simple ? for you all .... how do I add a security patch to php. I have it downloaded (do_download.php) but how and where to I add it. It is the security patch for uploads.... thanks.

Is it related to SSL for Apache? If it is then please help me on this. Yesterday I installed mod_ssl with openssl software. When I start Apache, it gives me Syntax error on "SSLMutex" and it says one of the dlls not found. I copied two dlls into c:\windows\system directory (I also copied into c:\windows\system32 also). But still that problem did't go away. Do I need to copy ALL dll files into system directory? Also, is it necessary to reboot the computer if that matters.
