Hey whats up? Being on windows so long you kinda get used to people making stuff for you. Well now that I decided to move all my servers on Slackware (Form of Linux) I got Apache all squared away. I got MySQL all squared away (I think), But its the PHP that is the problem. I have checked out www.php.net and tried to find the files to install it. Well big mistake. They don't offer anything for us Unix or Linux kids anymore. They are too focused on WINDOWS. So can anyone point this guy in the right direction? I need it in a .tar.gz file. I dled the the complete source but that does me no good. I have been on Linux for 3 days and I cannot figure out how to compile my own stuff yet. I am working on that though! Also my books that I have were written before they stopped handing out a nice installer or .configure file. So can anyone help me? Thank you soo much in advance.
