When a script (Such as my newsletter or the "Notify on reply" part of my forums) sends out an email, it doesn't reach local domain emails. Example: the domain is called mydomain.com and everybody with an name@mydomain.com email doesn't receive anything from the newsletter or the forums (or any other script using the mail() function).
How can this be?
I have an account at everyone.net which means I offer free emails at my site, so many users have an name@mydomain email. Subsequently, everyone.net handles all INCOMMING emails to my domain, but that shouldn't effect the outgoing mail through the mail() function, should it? (Someone said this might be the problem, which is why I mention it.)
Can it be that my host has configured the mail function wrong?
