I have aquired a second hand machine running Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 5 but I cannot change any of the options or settings, they are all greyed out. Re-installing Windows and IE5 has not made any difference. Does anybody know how I can access these settings???
It sounds like the machine has had security policies set on it. Look up POLEDIT and similar utilities for unlocking whatever was locked down by the previous owner.
