I have a simple question, but I have not located the answer...
Till now, I have disabled file uploads in my linux install of php 4.0.6. I need to get this going again to allow file uploads.
I have tried installing 4.1.2 but the payflow pro module is not working in 4.1.2 (that is another issue I would like to solve in another post.)
So I am back to getting my 4.0.6 patched. From the downloads area of the php.net website, I see:
for PHP 4.0.6 [2Kb] - 27 February 2002
(Apply in php-4.0.6/main)
I can not locate any other instructions....
1) Do I run this file in the /main directory?
2) Do I simply copy it into that directory?
3) Is this even needed if I have today downloaded the current 4.0.6 source files and did a module biuld with this?
4) How will I be able to tell that my system has been patched properly?
