Hello,

I am setting up a linux server with the usual suspects php/mysql/etc.

It will be for various users.

My question is, what are the config/settings I need to do to keep users from writing a php script that could access other files and stuff on the server?

the most important thing to do is to ensure that apache is running with a uid that doesn't have any serious write priveleges.
