php 4.20 still doesn't work on apache 2

mandrake linux 8.2, and still no go - apache crashes if php module is loaded. has somebody managed to compile for apache 2.0.35 with-apxs2=/path ? no errors during compilation, no errors in log, apache just crashes

Yup, I'm getting the same on my Debian box. Haven't got a solution but I'd appreciate knowing yours when you discover it🙂 Thanx!!

Im having the same problem with my Slackware 8 box, no solution yet, but plenty of hours pulling out hair 🙂 when I start the server it just dies immediately, looks like it starts up first tho.. Anyone with a fix please let us know! 🙂
