Not Passing Vairiable on WinNt

I just installed php on my WinNT and I cant seem to pass variables. I bet the prob is in the PHP.ini.

Here is the basic script:

Page1:
<form action="test2.php" method="post">
Your name: <input type="text" name="name">
You age: <input type="text" name="age">
<input type="submit">
</form>

Page2:
<?
$REQUEST["name"];
$REQUEST["age"];
?>
<body>
<br><br>
Hi <?php echo $name; ?>.
You are <?php echo $age; ?> years old.

I got the script working on my linux server at http://www.surroundbox.com/test.php. Just wont work on my home WinNT.

By the way I have tried this with turning the: register_globals = On

and tried it with

register_globals = Off

in php.ini

and still no worky.

what is the error message you get ? or do you get only a blank page and further nothing ?after you have installed php you should run a phpinfo(); to see all variables if you are testing the envirement openup phpini and set show_errrors = on to display all possible errors later you can turn of this variable for security reasons if php says "parse error" you have forgotten a ";" or ")" etc or unclosed strings like this

$mail = "me@provider.com ;

do you get what i mean if php reads the above string it will say parse error because the above string isn't closed as it should be give a bit more info about the error message you get ...

I turned the error message to on and the error I am getting is:

Like I said this script works fine on a linux server. But on my NT server at home, I just set up PHP and I guess I dont have it configured right.

I reinstalled the PHP.INI but this time I didnt use the recommended (safe) version and I also turned register_globals = On

Works now.
