Please can you help me. I have a silver account with ourchurch.com and use Beacon web builder. I am a pastor and am NOT technically minded. I did as the instructions below told me, changed the MySQL password:
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Change your MySQL password!
When a new Gold, Silver, or Bronze account is first set-up one of the first things you need to do us change the MySQL database password. We found that when a new account is created the password is the same as the username, which is not good. Please take the following steps to change your MySQL database password.
Go to your Site Administrator
Click the "Configure MySQL Database / phpMyAdmin" option
Click the "Change MySQL Password" option
Change the password to be the same as the password for the site administrator
I then went to install the chat room and could not get beyond the first page requesting domain name user name and password. All I get is the following error message.
Invalid SQL: CREATE TABLE c_messages ( type tinyint(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, room varchar(30) NOT NULL, username varchar(30) NOT NULL, latin1 tinyint(1) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, m_time int(11) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, address varchar(30) NOT NULL, message text NOT NULL )
MySQL error: 1050 (Table 'c_messages' already exists)
Session halted.
I do not have the faintest idea what this means I am really not technical which is why I used ourchurch.com as they use the Beacon Web Builder.
I am really sorry for causing problems which I am sure will have a perfectly simple answer.
