URGENT! Apache 2.0.35 PHP 4.2 and Slack

I've some problems with PHP 4.2 installation in Apache 2.0.35 and Slackware 8. Apache runs perfect.
The PHP configure script doesn't find the APXS, but I've installed correctly. Someone had any problem like this?

Be sure to use APXS2, not APXS...

stupid fix ./configure -with-apxs2=directory page change apxs to apxs2
