Apache version 2.xxx and php latest prob

I want to build a statically linked Apache latest version 2.xx and php

while ./configuring php it says

--with-apache NOT allowed for apache 2.xx

so how do I build a STATIC build of apache and php

because nothing beats the speed of STATIC apache and php

all help appreciated

Please try --with-apache2 option.
