Help with Installing GD 2 aka php_gd2.dl

Specs:
Windows 2000 AS
Apache 1.3 (cgi not sapi)
Php 4

I have gd 1.8 installed just fine. I need 2.0.1 installed.

So I put php_gd2.dll in the extensions folder right next to php_gd.dll, then opened php.ini to add:

extension=php_gd2.dll

which right next to:

extension=php_gd.dll.
I ";" out old gd dll and saved.

I then get all sorts of errors come up and thats it? go figure.
