gd and the php.ini

im running apache on a windows 98 pc at home

and am having problems getting it to work 🙁

i was hoping someone with a working install could show me their ini file.

Im also thinking that my http.conf file may also need alterations re ScriptAliases etc as ive read that this can influence things too. I should add that PHP works fine in every other respect until of course i uncomment extension=php_gd.dll

ive tried setting the following paths
in the ini file
extension_dir = ./
extension_dir = C😛HP/extensions/
extension_dir = C:/PHP/extensions/
extension_dir = C😛HP/extensions

any suggestions? would love to see a working php.ini file and the relevant http.conf aspects.

Try the following:

  extension_dir = "c:/php/extensions/"

Don't forget to restart Apache.
