Db conn. problem with PHP ISAPI

Hi,

Im having some issues using PHP in as an ISAPI module for IIS.

When I load my first PHP page it works fine - it retrieves records from the database etc without a problem to populate the first page.

No subsequent pages work - a list ODBC errors is returned suggesting a problem with the db connection or session information.

• This site worked fine under the CGI installation of PHP.

• The connection to the database is included from a global file (same file used in home and subsequent pages).

I've searched the web without managing to find a similar instance of this problem.

Any advice/ suggestions gratefully received!

Additionally - I'm now also considering the possibility that it's failing to pass the variables between pages - is there anything in the default ISAPI configuration that may prevent this?

Problem is solved. For sake of list, here's the solution:

With the latest version of PHP 4.2.1 registering global variables has been turned off in the interests of security. This is preventing the variables from being read by subsequent pages on my site.

In the php.ini this can be turned on again, although long-term this will be the developers policy and as such, code should be modified to accomodate this.
