Error when connecting to Oracle 8i

Hi,

I have installed PHP 4.1.1 + Apache 1.3 + Oracle 8i on a Linux Red Hat 7.1 box.
But when I try to connect to the database using ocilogon i have this error :
"_oci_open_server: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12545 ".
Can someone please help me .

Probably, your tnsnames.ora is not well configured (adress of the server, name of the instance, etc)
