Trying to get dbm files to work with php; the manual says to ..
./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=/usr/src/apache/apache_1.3.23 --enab
le-track-vars --with-imap=shared --with-xml --enable-dba=shared --with-dbm
... And I get this:
checking whether to enable DBA... yes, shared
checking for gdbm_open in -lgdbm... no
configure: error: cannot find necessary header file(s)
Running debian 2.2.17 with the standard Berkeley dbase ver 2 ..
I cry when I see someone else's phpinfo page with a successful database config ..
Any help will earn you several beers if you live in Brisbane, Australia (Or are planning to visit) 🙂
