I am trying to get PHP to connect to Oracle 9i but it doesn't work. I can't find any dll for PHP that says anyhting about Oracle 9i support, anyone any idea.
The 8i dll is perfectly fine (php_oci8.dll)
if you had the oracle install on xp then load the oracle modules en the php.ini. this extensions are in the /extensions/Oci8.dll. This is ok for 8i.
Thanks for your answer. Do I need to install the Oracle client as well, right now i only have the database installed.
You'll need the client installed as well 🙂
