How To install PHP4.2.2 with Apache 2?

just copy&pasted the new version of php into my c:\php folder and changed the entry in the httpd.conf ...

Hi Patrick,
I have just configured succesfully php4.2.2 to run with Apache2.0.39 on my WinXP Pro box. The two following links helped me do it.
Try to go over every message dealing with php4 with apache2. Also, there should be a link for the right php4apache2.dll to use.
