I'm having trouble installing mcrypt with the newest php. I've had similar problems before, but I can't seem to get it to work now. php will compile just fine, and mcrypt is listed appropriately in phpinfo() but it is listed without any cyphers and without any modes. My assumption is that it has to do with the linker finding the libmcrypt files, and I've tried to edit /etc/ld.so.conf (I'm running an upgraded redhat 6.2 box) but still no joy. Any advice?
