Hello,

We have some systems running Red Hat 6.2, and we're not allowed to use later versions of Red Hat due to some software thats running on them. I would like to get Instant WebMail running on two of these systems, and it needs PHP 4.something.

I've got John Cleary's post from 26th April 2001, and I've successfully done the configure, but towards the end of the make when its doing the linking, the following pops up:

stub.lo: file not recognised: File truncated
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: [libphp4.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/comms/php-4.2.2'
make: [all-recursive] Error 1

Any ideas on how I can get round this?
