Please help me. I have been unsuccessful in two attempts at installing IRCG (http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.ircg.php). I've read the newsgroups, looking for guidance and it doesn't seem to be helping. Has anyone every successfully installed IRCG under any version of RedHat Linux?
Can someone please give me a recommended installation path for installing IRCG. I will devote a new server to the test, so any combination of known-good versions will be fine (only RedHat Linux is required)? Here's
what I've tried so far:
..with this installation, everything seemed to be working, but HTTP Posts didn't pass anything, so required sessions and data posts didn't work. Then I tried:
- RedHat 7.0
- PHP 4.2.1
- all version listed in install_ircg.sh
- same IRCD version
..same thing.
What am I doing wrong? What versions do you know to work together and what config settings (if any) are required in PHP src (or whatever) to get this to work
properly? Am I missing something, with regards to making PHP a SAPI module (or something)?
