Connecting RedHat and Windows 98

Hello, I have two computers and would like to setup one to be an Intranet server - RedHat Linux 7. The other computer - Windows 98, will be a client, to access Linux (Ftp, Telnet, Web Browser).
I'm new to Linux, so I'm not sure if it's going to work or not. If so, how do I connect them?

A convenient way to access a Linux system from Windows is to install Samba on Linux. It allows to share directories and see them as if they were shared from another Windows machine. The configuration file is smb.conf. Maybe RedHat 7 gives visual tools to manage this. But I'm not a Linux specialist neither, so I won't be able to help you much more ;-)

www.osintelligence.com look under networking, they have a tutorial on how to set-up linux as a router, and also I think they have sample working scripts that do it as well.
