Can anyone confirm whether or not the checkdnsrr or getmxrr functions should work under Windows NT 4.0 / IIS 4 / PHP 4.0.3pl1 ?
These functions always return false, even though DNS is working correctly at the Command Prompt.

I'm afraid these functions don't work under Windows. DNS resolution is not enough, I suppose the functions have to contact a Whois server to get the records. And I know no place in Windows or in php.ini where to mention such a server.
