extension_path

Hi,

I installed Apache, PHP and MySQL using PHPTriad. I am now trying to modify the setup from PHP as cgi to an apache module. If I have PHP installed in C:\apache\php and apache at C:\apache, what should the extension_path be? I have tried C:\apache\php\extensions\ but keep on getting an error when trying to start the server, as it says that it cannot load the php_xxxx module as a component can't be found (or something similar - sorry, but I'm not at that computer as the phone line is down).

What's the solution?

Is there a folder called "extensions" in the c:\apache\php\ folder?

Yes, and I have copied the dlls to the windows/system folder. Couln't replace Msvcrt.dll or the Xml ones as they were already there.

the MSVCRT.DLL and PHP4TS.DLL should be in the winnt\system32\ folder

What about on Win 98? C:\Windows\System\ or C:\Windows\System32\

Look in those folders for a pre-existing MSVCRT.DLL file, and just put the other PHP4TS.DLL file in there with it..

I have the same problem on my Windows 2000
system on which I want to use the php_oracle.dll extension. Everything is where it should be but still I receive the same error.

I have the same problem with the oracle extensions. I managed to get odbc working by copying the dlls to the system32 directory (win2k) and copying php.ini to the winnt directory. However, I can't seem to get oracle to work regardless of what I try, and I tried two separate machines (win2k pro and win2k advanced server).
