php is acting weird ?

When i'm adding $PHP_SELF in a e.a. bla.php, it gives me the url /php/php3.exe/bla.php, how can i fix this ? (i guess it has to do with the apache configuration, or the php config, dunno which..)

use $PATH_INFO. this is a known issue with php.

I have same problem with Win2k + Apache + PHP 4.0.2 too.

i am a beginner in PHP.

The settings of PHP was ok.
But recently, when i try working on session, i changed some settings in php.ini. The system variable $PHP_SELF change like this:

/php4/php.exe/test.php

it was used to be like

test.php?PHPSESSID=23232nansdsajdsjka (something like that)

what\'s happend ? Have i do something wrong ?
How to bring it back ?!?

moreover, when i first tried on

print SID;

it output

PHPSESSID=2132ncsnnasd23 (something like that)

but now, it output nothing and the session id was different everytime when i press reload

but now, it keeps constant ..

i have tried to delete the modified php.ini and restore the default one provided by download package, but results the same.

i don't have any idea what's goin' on ~ 🙂
