I'd be very interested in hearing about the experiences of users implementing PHP / W2K / MSSQL 2000 in a high traffic environment.

Any hero/horror stories regarding performance and reliability would be greatly appreciated.

WJ, I'm assuming IIS is in your equation? If so, I'd be interested in hearing this as well. A buddy is building an IIS/PHP/LDAP site that will get significant volume. So far in his testing it is working well, but real world experiences are helpful.
