PHP stops running under IIS 4.0

Hi folks!

I have a problem keeping PHP running under IIS 4.0, WINNT 4.0 SP 6a, american version.
After a few minutes of serving web pages as expected, the PHP part of the server(php4isapi.dll?) seems to stop responding to requests initiated by the WWW services.
In the event viewer's system log appear some entries matching the time PHP stopped responding. They say the following: Out of process application '/LM/W3SVC/3/Root' terminated unexpectedly. Source: W3SVC, Event-ID: 37. Type: warning.
Does anyone out there know what's going on?

Haven't seen this myself, but one question: if you run the CGI version, do you still occasionally get a bomb-out?

If so, it's probably some other program's conflict with IIS. Check your ISAPI filter chain first. In fact, you may want to strip out everything except for PHP from the filter chain to determine if it still happens (as yet another test).
