Hey guys,
I was trying to build a chat room, and I used mysql and just regular files for that.. The problem with first is processing overhead with second it blinks and etc...
I know that socket programming can be used to implement something like a chat server. Can any of you who had any experience with it give me some direction. Would be good if you could post some code or may be references to the sites that contain some kind of tutorial information.
