installing php4 on apache running on win

installing php4 on apache running on win me ?

after i download phpinstaller for windows,

and installed it, my apache cannot run php scripts ?

here is part of my http.conf.

why is it not working ?

You will also need this line.

ScriptAlias /php/ "C:/phpdev/php/"

with the correct path to PHP

My apache setup uses ..

LoadModule php4_module c:/php4/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

Make sure you have the .dll module setup, and you should be just fine. If you don't have it, get the large install from php.net and install that.

Take a look on my reply to thread 'Apache/PHP on Win2000'

you could apply it...
just modify the appropriate Windows directory- in your case, \Windows\system
