I installed PHP404pl1 with the automatic installer but here is my problem.

But when i try a php file with a browser, my apache server cannot recognize the .php files ?

Why?????

I've put php4ts.dll on winnt/system32 directory

But i did not have any phpapache.dll files after i installed ?

If you're on NT, try seeing if IIS has been preconfigured to run PHP pages. From MMC check web properties for file extension PHP and make sure that it maps to the PHP executable (the ISAPI version has not been stable for me personally). IIS has the benefit of honoring NT permission settings on your folders and is very stable.

Your problem is not php, rather configuration for that user on sql server. Check your properties settings for that user you configured in SQL server using the enterprise manager. Check that it uses sql server authentication. Then check your odbc connection and also set that to use sql server authentication with the username and password.
