PHP4 Root directory

I have installed PHP4 on a Win98 machine with PWS in a directory called php.

I previously had php3 installed in a directoery called php3, this has now been removed.

When trying to access a php(4) file the page doesnt work unless I rename the php directory to php3.

I have searched through the entire registry and ini files changing all references to php3 directory to php but it still does not work!

Any help greatly appreciated!

Mark, I have had lots of problems configuring PWS (including problems w/Winsock2 installation). If you are not wedded to PWS, check out the free small footprint BadBlue server (about a 150K download for Win98). It is really easy to configure for PHP (see link below) plus supports some Apache-style CGI vars and is very stable.
