I have Apache+PHP4+Mysql running on my PC as a server, I succeed installed php applications like ( phpnuke , phpforum ) , Now here is the problem I’m facing :
My PC is part of our carport LAN which had a mail server (Ms outlook ) As you now those applications required users to be requested so phpnuke can send a conformation massage to users .
How to set the apache server so it can use the carport mail server?
E.g. (if were one if our local employee in the LAN and point it to my page http://nasser then try to sing in to phpnuke the server should send you email with your password.)
So peoples advised to install STMP or sendmail.org , I need your comments here
