In a word (Or a few)... They don't work!
At least, not in the versions of PHP I've tried (4.0.4pl1 and GTK 0.0.3).
I'm interested in making a server of some sort using PHP, but without the ability to use the socket functions, I'll have zero chance of this (Quite obviously)
Anyone have a copy (Or know of where I can get a copy) that has sockets compiled in?
