How to get winnt domain's user account on my WinNT4.0+Apache+PHP Web Site ?

If you run IIS (rather than Apache) you'll get it for free. Make sure anonymous access is not allowed on the folder in question and everyone will have to authenticate against NT.

a question for randy:

it seems to me that you are quite familiar with iis, php and user accounts:

we've got a huge NT intranet and i need to find out wich user is accessing NT server, that is to find it out in php scripts under iis (4). his username with domain name...

any suggestion?
