Hey Danny,
I've found that partucular switch in the config file and have adjusted it.
I get fewer errors now but I still cann't get php scripts to run correctly.
timesheet.php, php classifieds, mambo, stutter, gorilla gab, php web chat... and several others I can't remember (all from hotscript.com) fail to work.
In the case of stutter (I think), the php script wants to create a *.php file containing an admin user within its /amin directory. PWS paintes the page correctly and askes for a password in a pretty on screen login screen. The script should then write the password file but does not it just stalls.
Yet if I launch this stutter application and ignor the admin bit altogether, I can register as a user and even add and edit the user profile (both *.php files
So... php kinda works (it can generate pages), but when code is used to do something useful (file access) it dies
Oh... I have set the various directories to include execute from PWS.
other problems...
I have determined that one set of errors in other appliations at least is being caused by php and its relationship to mysql (with I have also downloaded and installed).
The php documentation claims that support for mysql was already integrated, but any script that requires mysql fails when it wants to access mysql (have I missed an install step or a config switch?).
My little excursion into PHP has not been a pleasure. Thanks for your help guys... I'm sure I'll get things working eventually.
Regards,
James.
