after upgrading to php4.0.5 and mysql 3.23.38, my server would crash after about 20 minutes of working fine...
i believe the problem is with pconnect, and one of the 2 new versions not handleing them correctly on win98. i switched to connect and it works fine.
obviously this is not the production server, and on slackware pconnect + php module + apache works just fine with the new versions.
i posted this on php.net as a bug and they told me not to use win98........ SO STOP RELEASING VERSIONS FOR WIN98!!
any suggestions on how to resolve it?
