PHP Dbg how to?

Hi
I've installed the latest dbg debugger and have the latest PHPed but cannot get the debugger to do anything. I have it in my php.ini file to load and run the listener but I see nothing different. I don't even know if it loads the dll as I am running the php4apache module and it doesn't warn me if it cannot load a module unlike the CGI version. So 1) Can anyone give me pointers on how to use the dbg and 2) while we're here how can I tell tha a module has been loaded. I would think it would show up in phpinfo but nogo.
