using IIS on Win2000

I want my application developed in asp to run on win2000

But it lead me to NT option pack 4.0 and spoke only of being applicable to users of Win95, mentioned nothing of WIN 2000, etc.

I was and still remain leery about installing this and was unable to actually find a copy of this PWS10a.exe file that I am lead to believe is what is needed.

The bottom line is this....if i cannot know the solution for such install, how in the world can we expect the majority of users to be able to install my application in this asp version?????

We should not expect folks to have PWS and/or the WIN2000 disk handy. We should give all the necessary ingredients or not think about offering the recipe.

Do you mean PHP and not ASP??? This is the PHP board, right...

In any case, check out the free BadBlue small footprint web server that works great with PHP. The download for Win98 is about 175K and it has a ton of features (PHP/CGI/ISAPI support, CLF logging, security, file sharing, Access/Excel/Word transcoding, virtual directories, directory browsing, etc.).
