cannot view source of sites

Using ie5.5 - Suddenly "view source" has stopped working. When I select it, nothing happens...no error codes or anything. I've rebooted several times, closed everything else, tried it on a million different pages...Anyone have any ideas on why this would happen?

Try clearing your cache. No good reason I can think of for this to happen. Tools/Internet Options/Temporary Internet Files/Delete Files

Make sure the path to Notepad or your favorite editor is set correctly on the Programs tab under Tools/Internet Options in IE.

This happened to me as well and clearing the cache solved my problem.

Thank you! It has been driving me nuts. I use it so much when developing in scripting languages to see the rendered code. I resorted to using Netscape for a while. ugh.
